Lynn Creek Park •  778 acres

This gate-controlled park serves primarily day users and marina patrons. Future plans include expansion of lake-oriented day-use facilities, a large multi-use pavilion, a fish cleaning station, a children’s playground, paddlecraft rentals, and concessions in high-use areas. (Source: USACE Joe Pool Lake Master Plan )


Loyd Park • 743 acres

This gate-controlled park serves primarily campers. Hiking trails and a paddle trail on Walnut Creek are within the Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) and represent important park amenities. Future plans described by the City of Grand Prairie include additional full-service campsites, additional cabin-like structures, a new gatehouse, existing campsite upgrades, pavilions, and a fish cleaning station. (Source: USACE Joe Pool Lake Master Plan )


Britton Park • 115 acres

This park serves as a boat ramp location in the upper end of the Mountain Creek arm of Joe Pool Lake. Approximately 87 acres north of the boat ramp complex are classified as MRML-WM and are suitable for natural surface pedestrian trails.
